- Trek up to the elevation of 11000 ft. above sea level while Walking right infront of Mighty Trishul mountain and Nanda Ghunti.
- Experience the walk through Oak forest and Rhododendron Forest throughout the first and Second day of trek.
- The twin meadows of Ali & Bedni is known to be one of the largest alpine meadows in Asia. These meadows are so huge that it takes almost 3 to 4 ours to cover them.
- Enjoy the green carpet of grassland and flowers arround you which will tempt you to take your shoes off and run barefeet on the meadows.

- Start early morning and drive to Lohajung
- The Journey takes around 8-10 hours, via KarnaPrayag passing through beautiful landscapes.
DAY 2 : PROJECT ANCIENT SAGE TREKKING WORKSHOP
This will be an interactive workshop with some insight into trekking. The workshop will be lead by trek and mountaineering experts, who will take you through the basic of trekking and share some insight into taking first step into the world the himalayan trekking.

DAY 3: LOHAJUNG TO TOLPANI
- Trek Distance: 6.5 Km
- Trek Duration: 4-5 Hours
- Altitude Gain: 2300m - 2850m
- A 6km drive to Kuling
- Descent of about 1.5 km, all the way to Neel Ganga River.
- Ascent of 400m long incline slopes that will take yo to Didna, we would complete 4.5km of trek
- From Didna the campsite of Tolpani is 2 km.
- The hike from Didna to Tolpani is covered with lush green oak forest that will mesmerize your trek.
DAY 4: TOLPANI TO ABIN KHARAK
- Trek Distance: 6.5 Km
- Trek Duration: 4-5 Hours
- Altitude Gain: 2850M - 3450M
- We will be heading towards the first of the twin bugyals, we start by around 8 AM. We trek uphill through the thickly forested land and the incline takes us close to 200M up to a small patch of flat land.
- Both our sides give us the sight of mighty Trishul and Nanda Ghunti.
- This is the start of the meadow, where we become fully aware of the expanse of the meadow as it spreads out. Mesmerized by the beauty of the widespread meadows, this is our campsite for the day.
DAY 5: ABIN KHARAK TO LOHAJUNG VIA BEDNI TOP
- Trek Distance: 10 Km
- Trek Duration: 5-6 Hours
- Altitude Gain & Loss: 3450m - 3650m - 2300m
- Officially, it’s the last trek day, so store up some extra energy. A combination of moderate and steep descent can be felt.
- Today’s the day, where you will reach the second part of the mighty meadows, Bedni.
- Through the forest of Gharoli Patal we will stroll to the last village of the valley that is Wan and will drive back to Lohajung.
DAY 6 : DRIVE FROM LOHAJUNG TO RISHIKESH
- Drive Distance: 255km
- Drive Duration: 8-10 Hours
- Last day of your memorable trek in Uttarakhand. You will wake up a little early, have mountain breakfast and then the vehicle will take you back to Rishikesh, which could be a 10 hours drive.
- So you should reach Rishikesh around 5pm. You can then head back to home, sweet home- carrying friendship, memories, strength and a piece of mountains in your heart.
How Difficult is Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek?
- BRS Grade: T2
- Path: Continuous route and passage marking.
- Terrain: Steep in parts, danger of slipping not excluded.
- Terrain: Good steady footing. Waterproof trekking shoes recommended. Basic navigation skills required. Basic alpine experience.
Ali Bedni trek has slightly longer trekking days and has steep ascents and descents. So, it is rated as a T2 trek that is beginners to moderatebecause it requires good endurance.
Getting to the details, this 6-day trek climbs from 7,550 ft to 12,550 ft. That’s almost an altitude gain of 5,000 ft. This climb is one of the major challenges on the trek.

Stay and Food
- Your stay at Rishikesh is at your expense.
- You will be given accommodation at Lohajung, either in a Backpackers’ hostel or guest houses. Twin/quad sharing basis.
- Tents will also be shared. Twin-sharing.
- During your stay, 3 basic meals will be provided a day, with coffee/Tea. During the trek, it will be the same with nutritious snack to keep up your energy level.
Transportation
- You will be picked from Rishikesh in a 4-wheeler early in the morning around 7am.
- Pick up from and to Lohajung before and after trek can also be arranged.
- You will be dropped back in Rishikesh once the trek is completed. After Rishikesh, Primal Himalayas is not responsible for your stay/food/transport etc.
What to carry?
MANDATORY DOCUMENTS
These are documents required for legal purposes by Primal Himalayas and the forest department. Without any of these, you will not be allowed to trek.
Original and photocopy of identity card. Anything such as a driver’s license, Aadhar Card, or passport will do. This is required by the forest department for your identification.

Fitness level
Able to do a basic walk for 5 km within 30 minutes. Should not have any medical conditions like heart ailments, diabetes, obesity, etc. Mountain sickness can be worrying anyone, but you just have to keep yourself hydrated, with right amount of physical activity before the trek. If you have any allergies to any food/insect bites/medicine do inform the team prior hand, to avoid mishaps.
Conduct
Say no to bullying. Let’s all be nice to self, to staff, fellow trekkers and to nature as well. We are here to enjoy the peaceful day, not to disrupt it. No rude talks.
Say no to plastics. If you’re carrying any kind of plastic during your trek you take it back to the basecamp and dump only in dumpsters, and not anywhere else.
Consent matters. Ask people before you want them to be involved in any kind of activity like sharing food, taking photographs etc.
